AIDS behaves differently then many viruses, there was no indication in the story that the reverse transcriptase blocker they are working on would work with other diseases, but nevertheless it is great news to hear, anyone else that knows what Rutgers is supposed to be famous for might think its fitting that the cure for AIDS comes from there. Now if only theyd find a cure for those pesky herpes, then there might be an influx of reckless sex acts outside of college campuses.

There are tons of 'possible cures' for AIDs being tested. This is nothing new and it does not mean that HIV/AIDs will be cured.
Do a google for HIV cures, there are lots of results and just because someone decided to do an article on this particular one doesn't mean anything.

see the problem with aids is that there isnt just one strand of it. there are many strands that react differently than others. this cure is different in that it can attack all strands.
