    AO for AO? (Anarchy Online)

I know when it came out it was crap, but I just put together a new computar machine (Faster than yours.) and I'm too broke to buy games.

    Anyone play AO?

    Apparently it's free now?

    Anyone else interested at all?

Faster isn't everything, it's all in how you use it

I'll bet you my laptop is faster than your desktop

Unless it's a P4E or Opteron Desktop, then you may in fact be wrong, unless you're right, in which case I'd be wrong.

but how is the refresh rate of that monitor on there

and how much ram? and is the vid card shared memory?

My laptop is a p4 3.0, Mobile MR 9000 (64 meg shared ) 512 ram.. that I was going to upgrade to 1024 but never got around to it... Runs games pretty well.. even though thats not what I bought it for

Moniter is a Samsung unit, widescreen with 12ms response time @ 60Hz.

Vid card is 256 MB version which does not share memory. It's basically a boxed desktop with 2 hours of battery life LOL! I dont care though since I usually plug it in at school and do hours of work with it at a stint. If I am doing something small the 2 hours is long enough for me. The only reason the vid card is a "mobile" version is it can use ATI's Powerplay feature and tone down the speed during battery times.

It's a Dell I9100 btw. Found it on Dell's Refurb website for a STEAL.
