They are a fun band.

OF Course people outside of New England have heard of them.

As far as "punk" goes they are one of the bigger bands.

the old Oi! style DK was great, and their new stuff is good as well. They sing too much about Boston though... But oh well, the singer has the lung capacity of a freakin whale... and if you need proof, listen to "The Gauntlet"

My friends and I are just a punk of Irish punks so it's mandatory we listen to them. Along with Flogging Molly and The Real Mckenzies.

Heard of 'em, don't really know anything by or about them though. I'm a gigantic Flogging Molly fan, they are so incredibly awesome live, I wish I could have found out about them before Drunken Lullabies, I've missed a lot of local shows.

Not to knock their albums, which I also love to death... there's just something about them live, some kind of spark or something. Maybe it's the crowd, the people that go to their shows. The only band I've seen that features a mosh pit with people line dancing, and a guy in the front with a Guiness Irish flag.
