Remeber tech tv before g4 joined? Remeber how it was better? Thats because when techtv got bought out by G4 a bunch of the old interns got fired like Leo from screen savers and many others. Just wondering if anybody else knows of this, your comments etc... heres a website on it. www.boycottg4.com

The only G4 shows they ported over that I like are Icons, since it is actually informative, and sometimes Filter.

Besides that, yes, G4 pretty much ruined TechTV. TSS was.. So fun to watch, but now.. Its horrible.

ACK! G4 is a homosexual channel. They replaced all the cool people from the "nerd channel" with morons who nobody likes. At least X-play will remain (I hope ). I actually have Martin Seargent and Laura Swisher's autographs, BTW

All of the new people talk so damn fast too. The guy on the screen savers and the two chicks are annoying as hell. The other host on the screen savers, the one who didn't get fired, you can tell that the fast talking guy annoys him. And he doesn't seem to know anything about technology anyways.

Yea, that's the thing.
It's all scripted. They don't really seem to actually know much. Everyone on the show is like good looking.
I really have neve watched a complete show because just moments on G4 shows you how utter crap it all is.

Leo was probably the guy who knew the most about computers/macs by far. But he was planning on retiring anyways. I think Pat left because he dissagreed with the changes, but I cant be too sure. Kevin knows his stuff, but he wasnt the smartest .

I'm not sure if they got cancelled or just left. I think a little it of both. I do know they were pissed of becuse G4 was censoring them way to much. It was when all the layoffs happened(and when TSS got raped).

I used to watch Tech TV alot before G4 took over, I do not even watch the Screen Savers anymore. I only watch Tech TV now when there is absolutly nothing on. Xplay always reviews old games, has there even been a new episode yet?

i used to really like TSS and then they turned it into like stupid retarted stuff on the internet, and even some gaming stuff. it used to be all about computers (pretty much), and it was so sweet, i really enjoyed the people. now its just like every other crappy show out there with a decently attractive staff and "wacky" stories. arena used to be soooo good, then they fired both those cool guys and got 2 morons to replace them. plus, they don't even air new or even recent episodes, ive watched the same re runs over and over, and its getting pretty boring. one time i watched electronic playground where they interviewed the guy who was making call of duty at the time
