Do do applications with a 30 day trial know that you've had it installed on HD before AFTER you partition and formated? I've never understood that?

if you reformat your computer than no, but after you install a trial program they usually leave a file in your registry so that incase you try to reinstall it, it will say you've already used it and not allowing you to test it again.

oh it's still on there, I repartitioned the HD and re formated and the trial still won't install. I must have had it on here a long time ago, cause I can't even remember using it the first time around
