It's been said that people of often talk about commiting suicide rarely go through with it. It's the people who don't say anything that's the scariest because you have no clue until they go through with it. Granted, I'm not saying not to take this guy seriously as we don't know exactly what's going on with him.

Suicide and depression should NEVER be taken lightly.

I know a family who found their father after he had put a shotgun in his mouth...

He was depressed, on pills, had previously threatened. But the family never forced one another to directly talk about it. End result, guys life didn't change, and he eventually commited suicide.

This guy should get off the computer and talk to a real person.

Those with something nasty to say should do the world a favour and shoot themselves.

If this guy is kidding, he should be shot.

No, of course not, but this guy is asking for visits, which would suggest hes wants attention, and is preying on good-natured people

the majority of people who say stupid and controversial stuff in school, no its not because they are really stupid, its because they want attention. IE:
Person 1- The moon landing so cool!
Person 2- Yea, man, i wish i landed on the moon.
Person 3- The moon landing is fake
Person 1- Your such a dumb***!
Person 2- i know, you looser

This is just an example (nothing really to do with the moon landing, although i personally think its real, but thats beside the point ) of someone saying something controversial
just to get attention. its negative attention, but hey, its still attention. One person in my grade even admitted to doing it over the previous years.

i take suicide very seriously, but a real "friend" wouldnt visit his journal, they would get his information and get him some help. Has anyone done this?

Personally, i do think he might be depressed, who knows, but i think hes also horrible for preying on people's humanity

Most suicide attempts are not really suicide attempts, they are cries for attention from someone who usually has a serious mental problem.

as another poster mentioned, if you really want to die, it's very easy to do it quickly and silently.

I can only hope this person gets the (medical) attention he needs quickly. I'm no doctor, but I have no doubt that whatever the response to his thread, his depression will not go away.
