    What?

    i don't get it? what do you mean by quitting drinking cafine make syou gain weight. about a year ago i used to weigh 195 lbs. I started skating. then I noticed i drank alot of soda so i stopped. From then on all i drink is water and now everywhere i go i have to have a full bottle of water with me. I now weigh 145 lbs. (i'm 15) also i now have alot more energy and i just so much better about myself. All i can say is that if you want to stop your caffine intake. GO FOR IT! it sure worked out for me.

    It depends on what type of person you are though. If you drink caffine and you're lazy you might not gain much weight but when you quit you can't burn the energy as much cuz your motabolizm(spelling?) is lower. I play tennis and I'm in the off season and I gained 7 pounds.

      what again?

      ok i don't get what your trying to say but before i skated i used to spend all day playing counter-strike 24/7. I never stopped playing that game. I would wake up and play until like 3 in the morning. and by that time there were about 5 empty soda cans in front of me.I stoped drinking it and lost weight. then againit could be just the way your body works.

          Ok guys, here is some clarification.

          The reason why I stated Miscue would lose weight, was because he was cutting his Soda intake. He cut his Soda intake because he wanted to cut out caffeine. He will not lose weight because he cut caffeine, but he will lose weight because he is no longer taking in Soda - packed with all that Sugar. SkatingPunk, that is the reason why you lost weight - that is the reason why I lost weight, and have kept it off - :).

              I wish i would GAIN weight with soda...i started weight lifting thinking i would gain weight, nope..i lost it, i started at the beginning weighing 136, i weighed 132 at the end(im almost 16) I am a real skinny person and want to weigh around 160 but NOOOO im gonna be the skinny kid

                      ThePatriot- Why not do what I'm doing, Go to GNC and buy some 100 percent Whey Protein mix and dink up? It tstes good with choc. milk and you pack on the protein. Then just work out and see what happens.:)
