AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
so far I havent opened any gifts from my family, but friends would include
A new beanie
A box of fire dentyne gum (this stuff is awesome)
A knife
Another knife
a cd
and that is it for now, update tommorow...
AND TILL THEN rock star
Personman: Let me know how that Cold Heat soldering iron works. I have been interested in one for awhile, just don't want to waste the money if it's crap.

Actually I was just playing around with it. It's pretty cool, but I cant figure out how it works.. It looks like it basicly sends lots of electricity to melt the solder but you would think that wouldn't be safe for work on electronics?
Its pretty neat though, you can touch the tip and it wont do anything. It takes normal old solder and I think there is some sort of sensor in the tip and when it detects the solder there or something it starts up..
I havent actually used it yet, just melted solder and stuff. Its got a nifty little LED thats pretty bright so you can see what you're doing. It runs off batteries so no cords to get in your way
I like it so far, when I first opened it I was like oh god, what a cheapo gimmick thing, but its actually pretty neat.
Personman, Is that Cold Heat thing I see that Soldering Iron they have been advertising on TV... Im intrested to know if it actually works (I dont solder, but it'd be cool to know if it worked) Merry Christmas
I got a check from my grandmother
Don't know what from my mother yet
Subscription to National Geographic from my father (he likes to pick random things)
Cordless tool set from my father (recipricating saw, circular saw, flashlight, and drill) that's going back though since I already have two recipricating saws (cordless ones are worthless), 4 circular saws (although 2 of them are junk but again a cordless circular saw won't cut paper), I could use the drill though. I'll probably take it back, throw in a couple dollars more, and get a cordless drill, 90 degree die grinder, and a mini air powered recipricating saw.
I got to open 1 present on xmas eve and i opened the one from my bro(me and my bro are really tight so we wrap our presents with soo much duct tape its not funny but this year he steped it up a knotch and put fenceing wire on it) so anywho i opened it up and he got me a dart gun!!! It shoots darts, pelets, BB's and w/e that other thing it came with. when i finaly got it open we went in our basment we set it up and its soo sweet and for some reason it shoots high for me. but i cant wate to see what i get tomarrow!!!
