Pipe Smokers?

Alright, a friend of mine gave me a pipe a while back along with a bag of some kind of tobacco. It was quite good, but I never got around to finding out what it was. Nevertheless, I got a new pipe today as a sort of christmas gift to myself but ofcourse, need some more tobacco. So what are some good ones to try? Any specific brands I should stay away from? Thanks.

Btw, I bought a Churchwarden Meerschaum Skull.

I don't think he should have been banned. However, it may be a quote from a movie, but it did have a different intent. He is just another stupid stoner... I have talked to him before, and I know these things. He is as useful as herpes. Take my word for it.

Well with those pipes you dont typicall what to handle the bowl end as it will pick up the oils from you hands and start to turn a ash gray color.

The reason these pipes are so neat is that they pick up the coloring from the tabaco you smoke in them. Another reason the stem is so long to to keep you from handling the bowl.

I would try a few blends of tabaco in a basic pipe and see what suits you then just smok that blend in you rnew pipe. Find the pipe geek at your local shop, they will be of great value

they do take on the coloring from the oils in the tobacco you smoke. some people like to smoke only one kind so as to keep the coloring the same. i have seen a few where the owner smoked many different kinds and they coloring was very unique. i personally favor the cherry and peach flavored tobacco found at my local shop. they do an excellent job and its pretty darn cheap. it also has a very nice aroma so it keeps my car from smelling funky.

btw, thats a pretty nifty looking skull, should be neat to see it all colored out.

im sorta curious what line he said from LOTR. I dont remember any weed jokes in that movie but im guessing it was along those lines?
