I may not have worded the title correctly, but regardless; we need to have this man removed from judgelyness. How a man like him can GET to where he is is beyond me.. Ill post more when im not as 'nogged.

I think these judges on these shows have to retire as actual judges to do the show. The people in these shows have dismissed thier court cases and decide to have this idiot or some other show judge decide thier case. So i dont think he is an acutal judge anymore.

There is like a 2000 dollar prize, and the winner gets however much the judge decides is fair.

And then both parties split the rest.

yes... they are all retired.

And yes... they recieve a fund of up to $5000 to split in judgements. Plus a set "court fee's" fund. If they win they get as much as it all. If they lose they could get nothing. So lets say one gets a judgement of 2500... then they both split the fee remaining for appearing. And the winner gets the additional 2500 as well. Or lets say the judgment is in full for the 5 grand AND court costs. So the winner gets it all and the loser gets nadda.... But I think they also get travel money and such.

Something like that is how its done. They have to agree to it all. And many overloaded courts are willing to let them drop out and do this. They are selected, of course, for entertainment value. So you get a lot of trailer park trash and such.
