    Yes it is a scam, just forward it to [email protected] and you will get an email back telling you it is indeed a scam

      financial services should NEVER ask for your account access info.

        They would never ask for that info, nor would they address you with a generic name like that.

            notice how it's "https" -- which means, its' running off of a secure server. Paypal doesn't do that.

              a secure server is all they use. if the link actually takes you to a https://www.paypal.com/..... site and STAYS at https://www.paypal.com/.... then its ligit.

                well, yeah. but any initial links into paypal aren't thru the secured server.

                    Log onto your paypal account normally (not through the email) and if there are issues on your account, it will have a note.

                      just download this http://pages.ebay.com/ebay_toolbar/ its the ebay toolbar with account guard very useful tool saved numerous times. Pretty much what it does every time you go to ebay or paypal it will actually tell you if its a legit site from paypal or ebay if it isnt a Big warning sign pops up saying beware this is a fake ebay or paypal page.

                          That's the give-away. Paypal always addresses it's members by full name in all correspondence.

                            I get these alot. they are a scam. When you open the link, notice it is NOT secure. DO NOT PUT ANY INFO IN IT!!! The poeple doing this are making good money...some people just dont pay attention to thios stuff.
