    Another interesting use for google.

    So we all know some the cool features of google;

    -- type in a tracking number and be taken to the correct site for the number. (ie usps, ups, fedex, etc)

    Here is one I didnt know about .... take any bar code off an object and type the numbers under the bar code into the search bar. Google takes you a site that offers up a bar code for that object in a nice easy to print off format ....

    Wonder how many people abuse this feature ....

    you used to be able to type a phone number and it would do a basic background check on the person (address, name, email, etc...)

    it didn't work last time I tried though...

      I just tried that^. All I got was the address and name. No email address.

        wow... it does still work, but the data is VERY old. it still shows me living in Long Beach, and doesn't show the number I've had for two+ years...

        they've got another system where you can get pictures from space of pretty much any address you want... I misplaced that link somewhere around here...

        All this time people are worried about the government knowing too much about us, when in reality it's google you need to be scared of. ;-)
