Anyone have a Beretta U22 NEOS?

I've been looking around for a new plinking pistol and came across the U22 NEOS which looks completely wicked, in fact, i've never seen anything quite like it before.

Just wondering if anyone has one and how they like it. The price tag is perfect right at around $300 for the deluxe model.

I looked at the Neos, but I couldn't get over the look of it. I spent a bit more and got a Beretta 87T for plinking.

My BIL has one. I don't really like the grip angle or shape. The grip angle tends to make me point high.

I have a Ruger Mk2 22/45 and it's been boringly accurate and reliable. Tear down isn't really as complicated as some make out: just follow the directions the first time.

If your looking for a nice plinking automatic, go with the Walther P22. It'll be nicer than the Ruger 22/45 or the Neos.

I'm not looking to spend much money... I have a S&W Model 41 that I use for local .22 competitions, it's one nice little gun.

I'd really like a gun that I can just throw around, abuse, and not really care all that much about... Might have to find a NEOS that I can actually test out to see if I like it, i like the price, and I dont know what it is about the alien style look that it has, but i think I like it, lol.

I'm waiting on the new SigSauer Mosquito. Rumor has it coming to the US in '05 in the $300 range.

I didn't like shooting the U22 NEOS, it felt to much like a toy to me and not a gun. I have this thing about not having guns that feel like toys, and toys that are not as realistic as guns (hence me playing paintball over airsoft).

What type of plinking do you want to do? I personally have been big on pellet guns lately, its nice to be able to shoot something in your house/backyard and not get in trouble for doing it.
