At 3pm yesterday , me, dad, older brother, started to move all of my deceased grandfathers book collection....well hell, its a library folks. We moved all of his books and book cases into a U-Haul and into my grandmothers new house. When we get there we find out that all of the trucks contents belong in the basement down a flight of stairs. Which is better than UP a flight of stairs but nonetheless renders any thoughts of using the handtruck hopeless. So, one by one we tote them down stairs not to mention the 200 yr old book case from England that weighs as much as a fully loaded 747. We finally finish at about 8pm. So i spend the rest of New Years Eve recovering from all forms of dehydration and exhaustion and flipping through the yellow pages looking for a good chiropractor. Then i wake up at 5am this morning to get to work at the golf course, which when i get there i find out the Superintendents truck broke down and all the maintenance workers are locked out of the maint. yard
not the greatest start of '05 but...
