i thought it was awful. Im like a lot of movies people call dumb too... Like Napolean and Dude wheres my car...etc. i hate scary movie. I just thought this movie was terrible. I left halfway through though maybe it got better at the end.

there was a couple funny parts....but it wasnt doin it for me.....

personally I dont know why Owen Wilson would even take such a movie.

Owen Wilson has collaborated with Wes Anderson on four films thus far, all being fairly popular.

        Bottlerocket (1996)
        Rushmore (1998)
        And The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)

They all share a similar acting method and humor, though the cinematography does vary. Anderson's love of highly stylized scenery is more present in TLA, and lends the movie it's 'parody of a parody' feel. Anderson is parodying the making of a documentary, and the documentary itself is a parody of documentaries.

That said, I loved this movie.

You know, I remember saying that for Zoolander, I Spy, Shangai Knights, Starsky and Hutch, Anaconda, the Cable Guy, and Meet the Parents.

                  Speaking of Cable Guy...

That movie is seriously underrated. It's actually one of my favorite comedies.

Indeed, good movie. Funny stuff Jim Carrey pulls of the lisp well. Matthew Broderick is a funny guy, and all the subtle jokes are hilarious.

I actually liked both I Spy AND Shanghai Knights.

But that's just because I am totally gay for Owen Wilson, so whatev.
