    Cool Guitar Riffs...

looking for some cool, beginner, guitar rifs to learn

Alrite well i've had my guitar for a year, and never really played AT ALL... and so Im not that great at all I can play some riffs from

    Blink 182 - Adam's Song
    Funky Town
    Play That Funky Music
    Phantom Planet - California
    Black Sabbath - Iron Man
Zelda: Ocorina Of Time - The Song Of Time...
    Sum 41- The Hell Song

Probly the hardest thing i learned to play was the intro to What's my age again, by blink 182... By the way I have an acoustic

    Aghhh, blink 182, drink bleach.

Are you just showing off or asking for cool riffs to learn?

When you say Nick. And you live in Canada.

Do you mean the Nick that is actually in the band?

He's talking about me. It's a pretty easy solo, I will record it when I finish recording my bands stuff tonight.

If you can find the real way to play Smoke on the Water its fun, and if you want tab (even if it isn't always right) check out www.powertabs.net , you just download a program and then download the songs you want .

lol Jon Petrucci is a mad man. He is something else with a guitar. A Change of Seasons one big 25 minute guitar fest. They're an awesome band.

Maybe Crazy Train or Ironman good easy riffs to learn.

The best ever is Red Hot Chili Peppers "Times Like These". The whole song is a collection of 3 riffs, and its great to play on acoustic. Plus its fast, but easy. Now if you want something fun to play around with, either "Put your lights on" by Santana or "Carry on wayward son" by Kansas. Both are amazing too.
