ahh.. my trip to jackson hole wyoming!.

    well.....

im a big time snowboarder... and decided my local MT wasnt quite big enough for me... so i took a little trip..
(14 hour drive) TO jackson hole WY.. the best snowboarding ever, the second i get there it starts to snow.. so i go up the next day. and board a foot of powder :NEXT DAY: it snowd 2 feet over night
so i just had to go...i go up to find out the avalanche danger was extreme.. the snowboard at your own risk thing(basically your gonna cause one there)
so i was baord and thought i would try it ne ways.... first run i cause an avalanche, takes me off of a 35 foot cliff into a tree .. that hurt.. on top of that i got burried under another foot...and was in enough paint from hittin the tree.. but i had one hand above the snow.. so i dug my self out then dug the rest of my body out which took like 2 hours... then had to hike al the way out. another 2 hours.. i was tired by that point..so i went back to the hotel and said to myself that im not goin again.. but it snowed another 2 feet over night... and the tard that i am just had to go... so i went back up.. 5 or 6 runs into the day i was in the trees ( a double black dimond run) and made another one... but this one was huge so i try to out run it.. wow.. talk about your all time back fire!.... so as it was nipping the tail of my board i go behind a tree and just hug it... to my amazement it worked!!! and im alive... so i got home late last night and went to bed.. .so it was a 7 day trip in all..

but i went through alot for a 14 year old... but im goin back in february when it snows some more...ne one else had ne prblems with avalanhces???

yep, the second one certainly sounded dangerous since you could successfully grab a tree while outrunning it . it mustve been going at least 2.5 mph

      Natural selection will EVENTUALLY work.

Why don't you give sticking your finger in light sockets a try too?

Sounds like heaven to me. Fresh powder is always fun to ride in. How much did it cost you?
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!
