On the subject of accents... do Minnesotans have accents according to the rest of the US? (I ask, because I'm Minnesotan).

To the point, it'd be cool to have a stereotypical Indian (Apu style) accent for like, a day. Or an Irish one.
But not for long.

Give me a tall guy who says "Y'all" and "darlin" , my heart melts and i am putty in his hands.

But even more so give me a tall guy with nice eyes and a Brittish accent and I will bow at his feet and be his slave forever . I think that is the utlimate sexiness.

YES!!!!! Minnesota has a very definate accent!!! Doncha know? That "O" sound you guys used just bugs me....I went up there and almost had to commit seppukku just to stop the sounds from being in my head.

Or people from the midwest and their inability to pronounce "o" . IAO nearly killed me.

EXAMPLES: Attacacker ( Autococker), pads (pods).

Growing up in Arizona and Inland california has robbed me of an accent.

If I had to pick one I would say Pikey, just so no one knows what the hell I'm talking about.

When I was visiting Paris a bum asked me for money and I was like tempted to pay him just to talk to me....so sexy!!!

On guys, I think German or British accents sound cool.

Do people in other countrys make fun of American accents? How does that sound? I've done my "british" accent in front of real live british people, and was told its terrible... But I've never heard a foreign person do an american accent...

When I lived in Germany, I heard many different things...most Europeans travel now, so they have an idea. Some I ran into thought all americans talked like they were from the south with heavy country accents. Maybe because we were near a military base, I don't know?? Others pictured Al Bundy...LOL!!!

Accents can be funny. This is a complete double standard, but take a 300 lb woman with warts like Lemmy Kilmister who has a Russian accent and there's nothing sexy sounding about her at all. Now a 6 foot tall blond girl who's a KGB super spy and is seducing James Bond is a completely different story.
