i have to say, i LUV to snowboard... it dont know it is just an amazing rush jumping on a snowboard... almost equal to the rush of paintballing... snowboarding is great period... the only thing i have to disagree with skiing is the skiers that don't know how to jump and ride over the jumps that my friends and I have spent hours making ... lol other wise skiing is cool too

Snowskating, heh.. skateboard for the snow, slides fast, and you can do it anywhere. When we get a light snow, I go down my drive way, and when we get a decent amount of snow, we go into a big hill in the woods and make ramps and some other stuff. :)

I think snowboarding is cool, but its just another expensive sport. I paintball and Mountain Bike, and I doubt my parents want to support any more of my hobbies.

Ski boards are a pain... the length and overall base are waaaay too small to carve, and you look pretty stupid trying to navigate powder... I would much rather get a nice pair of Salomon 1080s if I were into free-skiing and new-school...

Got a new board for Christmas....and this has been the worst winter for lack of snow.

                            But boarding rules!

Snowskates are skateboards that are designed for using ANYWHERE. You can go down your drive way, small hills etc.

And your right, they aren't good on powder, you don't bring them to ski hills anyways. Nor do you carve with them. LOL
