2 weeks ago my car died. i got it toed by aaa and it is sitting in my uncle's garage waiting to be fixed. i was not worried because i have a little truck that has always been at least reliable. well it died today on the way home from school. if you dont redline the engine it stalls.
so in 2 weeks i have gone from 2 cars that i hated because they were both crap to nothing.

Oh you dont even want to hear about my previous car troubles! I could fill 4 pages, but to give you the nutshell answer here goes:

Had a very reliable little plymoth acclaim, 4 banger engine, great gas mileage and ran great for 3 years. I took great care of it. Meet this girl in college, start driving all around, she lived like 100 miles north of school. One time taking her home with friends in the car, crusing down the turnpike, engine temp goes real high (im low on coolant) but then the needle went down. I think cool everythings good. Turns out the engine got SO hot the temp sensor broke. Block cracked. Nearly burst a couple hoses but car held together. I stop to pay toll on turnpike, car shuts off. NJ Turnpike VERY busy. Car manages to start and i cruise to the side of the road. Girl pissed off at me. Friends feel bad. Car gets towed. Driving home car stalls 2 times. After that, it was a year of HELL with that car, and in that year the girl fell for my best friend and left me angry with a broken car. Car stalled at the Holland tunnel entrence once too. Couldnt drive more than 20 miles away or it would randomly shut off. Replaced 1000 dollars worth of parts on it, had the head gasket reseated like 4 times by my dad (a great mechanic by the way). Car was a NIGHTMARE!!! So, i feel your pain! Ok this post is huge now i will stop.

zeeznutz, check all your spark lines and plugs on the truck. If its fuel injected look to see if the injectors are all clogged up... maybe something got into there. If one is clogged, you are only running on half the cylinders, which it probably would not do. Check your alternator! Test to see if its puting out about 14volts when you're at 2000 rpm.

My truck is louder than yours. A lot louder.
