Here in Boston, MA its such an expensive pain-in-the-*** to get a class A/B license, its almost not worth it. Not like you can get anything cool anyhow, what with the "safety" crap they pull.

Here in FL, I don't think there's a waiting period for rifles but there is for handguns. Unless you have a concealed weapons permit, then you can take it home the same day as far as I know.

Here in California, LEO's can't even cash and carry without a letterhead from their PD with express permissions to use the gun for training or other purposes.

There is no waiting period here, I think you do need a backroudn check tho, there is some forms, or you can be like my dad, Buy an AK Parts kit and Reciever Flat, and bend your own reciever

Man a 10 wait would really suck. Here in Georgia if you have a cwp it's cash and go. If you don't have a permit you have to fill out some forms and they call to do the back ground check. The longest I have waited was one hour because the system was backed up. Still cash and go but takes a little longer.
