of course I still have mine too.

I love the lego Santa Fe train set. And one day, I will buy the ginormous Star destroyer set

Yes, I play with lego trains.

          Oh yes.

I am also still in possession of a great many Legos, which I continue to move about the shop as they get in the way.

They will pry my Legos out of my cold dead hands.

          And I thought I was an oddball . . . . . .

Does anyone else still have legos sitting around? (Note: If you are under 14, this post doesn't apply to you).

I have have all of mine, mostly sorted out by size, in small compartment. I don't think I'll be sorting by color, however.

Except for the ones that are built around the house.

My personal favorite set was the Sports car set. The one with the working 5-speed transmission :) No clutch. (lot of very good drivers in legoland, I guess. :) )

                          I have that one.

                          Lego supercar: TL8448

Did you leave it in the convertable form or the gull wing door form?

On another note the large F-1 racer is pretty cool too. Interesting how they do the shocks.

I love LEGO(s) (the s is not supposed to be there, but I don't care), but I have one problem with them. They cost too much.

Give me a bulk box of bricks that weighs upwards of 50 pounds. Or bulk Technic pieces.

I know that they have excellent injection molding techniques and that the bricks have excellent qualities such as creep resisitance, but holy poop, it's still a children's plastic toy.

Give back their creativity! Cut back on the reliance on proprietary aesthetic pieces. Kids like to build. It's that simple. And parents cannot afford to buy $50 sets!

Despite their price, I love my LEGO.

Average price is 10 cents per piece when you get into the medium-large sets.
