Pretty neat, kinda wierd looking, but a good, cheap alternative to the expensive iPod.

I still love my iPod though .

It is a feature I like. it makes it easier to cycle through songs, and sometimes I can't think of the name of the song.

I like it, KISS at its finest. A gigs worth of music is plenty for most people anyways.

Ya, I like the idea of it. I have over 2000+ songs on my comp, but right now my playlist is only 72 songs. No need to have all 2000 on my mp3 player, price is so nice, but I dunno. I wish they atleast put alittle lcd screen on it with the song title and play time.

yea, but if you're comparing gigs to price

                      shuffle- 150 for 1 gig

                      mini- 250 for 5 gigs

                      I-pod- 300 for 20 gigs

                      I-pod- 400 for 40 gigs

so if i did my math correctly, the shuffle is 150 for 1 gig, the mini is 50 dollars per gig, the i pod (with 20 gigs) is 15 dollars per gig, and the i pod with 40 gigs is flippin 10 dollars per gig.

while the i pod 40 gigs is clearly the best deal, its the most expensive. Maybe if the shuffle was 50 cheaper for a gig it would be a semi good deal.

You can't really compare the Shuffle to an iPod. The Shuffle is designed to fit into a different niche in the mP3 player market. The Shuffle is for people who want KISS in a small light affordable package. The regular iPod is designed where you can take your entire music libary with you where the shuffle is designed for one playlist.

Apple really knows what they are doing (even if there stuff is a little pricey)

I never liked iPods. Althought they have a great design, too common. But with this so cheap and not many will have it, I'll most likely get it. Only problem is I better not loose it.

So you won't buy something because it is popular. How ingenius.

You mean it has a shuffle feature, like the one which has been common to countless music players since the dawn of time?! WOW! Price is decent, but not all that much better than comparable USB MP3 players.

I hate iPods as well...ended up with a Creative Zen Micro, which to me appears to be an Ipod Mini with more features and a slightly worse user interface.

"I would like nothing more than to walk around
wearing a shirt with a giant arrow pointing
downwards, but I have this strange feeling
that most people would take it as some kind
of sexual suggestion rather than an attempt
                              to infer one's final destination."
