Found this sweet image of the Earth at night and I thought I'd share.



EDIT: picture came out worse than I thought, image crunching made it too small, if anyone wants a full size copy shoot me a PM. Its very detailed.

I find the most interesting portion of that image to be the stark contrast between North and South Korea.

Oh wow, I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. That's what happens when one country spends their budget on military and the other spends [the United State's] money on economy. Which gives further proof that when the two countries decide to unite (if ever) that it will be on the Souths terms, not the Norths, as long as the US keeps a military presence in the South.

If you look real closely in the water you can see oil rigs and japanese fishing boats as dots of light.
