    Any airsoft buffs out there?

so, my friends talked me into buying an airsoft gun. i thought, why not, as cheap as they are.
they've already played some, and said it was a blast. they ordered about 14 guns all at once.
so....i just HAD to order at least one.
i made up my mind within minutes and decided to go with the G36 C with red dot scope and laser

so, what i'm wondering is how crappy these things really are.

has anyone had any experience with these?
what are the main issues/problems with these?

    Came from the website:

    Model : G36 C Red Dot
    Manufacturer : CYMA

Description: - Full Size Airsoft Replica Pellet Rifle
    - Functional Red Dot Scope
    - 240 fps/100-130 feet
    - Made In China

I got the M4 version from the same manufacturer.

It's not the greatest, but it does shoot. My springer shoots to the left, the hop-up isn't adjustable, foregrip isn't secure, but it was also only $30. Not for any serious play, but good enough for shooting eachother in the house.

that's all i plan on doing - i'm not gonna get too serious. mine too was only $30, so if it totally sucks, i won't be too disappointed.

one more thing - w/ the spring powered guns:
it's a single shot, is it not?
so i have to pull something back every time i shoot?

it would make sense, seeing as how it is spring, but wasn't sure.

Meh, give it a month before it falls apart

And yes, you have to cock it for every shot.

Oh Man. I hope you didnt pay more than Ten Bucks for that. CYMA are the worst guns ever. They use the scopes and stuff to reel you into buying it then it just breaks. I suggest returning it and getting a Tokyo Marui or HFC springer.

actually, the shipping is what jacked the price up.

the gun was only $14, so i didn't plan on it working for long.
i plan on buying a few more, and i'll take your advice.

i don't know how much i'll play, so, like i said, i won't be too disappointed if/when it breaks

yes i have, don't get it unless you want to get up close and personal and don't want them to have it hurt or leave a mark

what are the main issues/problems with these?
                  bad: needs batteries
                  use more bb's (full auto)
could get a cheaper one with same attributes

                  good: shoots full auto
don't have to cock it every time
                  looks cool

overview: get it if you want, i am not stoping you. i have done research on these and shot my friends, it's ok but i perfer the spring MP5's from airsplat.com

                  have fun and wear goggles

I reccomend one of the new AEP's made by TM (I belive). The usual EBB's (Electronic pistols) blow goat, but the AEP design is pretty hardcore - from what I've heard (many people). Springers - TM
                      GBB - KJW / WA
                      AEG - TM / CA

I hope your not reviewing the other less recent versions; the MP5 boys is relatively new, with a function resembling a real AEG. They are supposed to perform QUITE well.

                        Technology for ya.
