I hear you on this one ... given the liberal lean that many colleges are suffering from, I would hate to have to deal every day with a professor like that. Especially the kind that try to make their views the views of the class and the in class lessons.

Tech and math classes rarely touch on politics, if ever, so you wouldn't have a problem there if you actually attended class. Even 90% of my history classes didn't, unless that was a topic being studied.

Maybe you should bite the bullet and look for some classes that require papers. You might, like I did, find that once you get into the swing of them, writing papers can be enjoyable.

Good luck in your schooling: it's only too late when you're dead.

In a Communications class I did an entire speach on perversion, the whole time I was staring directly at the proffessor (the main pervert in all my obeservations). At the end of my speech, about 40 minutes including questions and answers. I was the only one who got an aplause, a real one not the polite kind you do for piano recitals.

He even asked me straight up about my research and observations and I said, "I went to the library and got books and journals and for my personal observations by watching you stare at all the girls with nice butts and tits." He was going to fail me but I told the dean about his actions in class and had some girls also speak of his behavior. He did not return the next semester.

Is it just communications teachers that are screwy?

Long story short; I am turning 30 this year and on the 31st I start my first day ever in college. Talk about a weird feeling.
A coworker just recently enrolled at Phoenix Online, to return to college and get his BA.

He's also in the IT field, and going for business instead of computers. A little bit older than you, but he has a few credits on you .

            Good luck with school.
