I got my Tango Drum scan of a chrome back today...

While this might not interest all of you, I'm sure that, for a few of you, it will.

Anyhow, I'd sent two images off to West Coast Imaging a little while ago. Today, they came back. I got a 110 mb Tango drum scan of the Niagara Falls slide, and a 16x20. The barn was a Fuji S2 digital file, and the slide was 35mm Kodak Ektachrome(I believe).

I just felt like sharing these(these are straight from the WCI corrected files, scan:

Yeah, that's the actual film grain... Close to 11,000 DPI. Wow...

Anyhow, they managed to get rid of the color cast that my lab screwed up with processing(I don't know how, most likely their processor's temperature was off). They cleaned the slide, and did a bit of PS work. Awesome quality...

    The 16x20 is absolutely amazing...

    Great company...

They both look great. I'm actually in love with that second shot.

Any chance you could show us what they looked like before they touched 'em up?

Edit- Or did they just touch up the first one?

Sure. Here's the Archive scan they did(raw, only the scanner might have done a quick color alteration.) The second one is pretty much straight from camera. Both were sharpened with a high pass technique.

                Freak.... which one?

I'll upload a higher resolution one, with my copyright info, etc.

Just please don't distribute it. That would not only be rude, but also illegal.

I appreciate the fact that you like it...

                I'll sell you a print

I've uploaded a 1024x640 background. Windows should resize it to fit(Do NOT let it stretch it vertically, that's ugly)

Hope you like it. However, please do not redistribute this. The image is copyrighted, although the files too low of a quality to make a print off of. PM if you need any help, or anything else.

Hope you enjoy, and I'm happy to be your wallpaper(my image)!
