I have felt REALLY bad the last day or so. I just skipped the end of school and came home to see what my temperature is. I'm at 102.0 + or - .3. My friend had the same thing happen to him a few weeks ago and he ended up dieing. I'm taking a cold bath now. ANy other advice short of going to the hospital? I don't feel THAT bad. I felt HORRIBLE earlier but I'm not to bad now.

I hate the doctor. I don't even really feel that bad. Just crazy fever. It's acctually already dropped quite a bit.

103 doesnt sound THAT bad; 110 however is bad news; I had a temp of 111.00 when I was about 8, and I nearly died. Drink plenty of fluids and monitor your temp; if it continues to rise, go to your physician.

Last time I checked it was 101. I'm go check it now. It's back up some. I'm going to just keep drinking water and trying to cool down. I don't feel sick at all, sore throat and a SMALL headache.

Take some Tylenol & get some rest. If you still have a fever tomorrow give your Doc a call & see what he recommends. BTW cold bath wasn't necessary, fever really wasn't high enough to get that radical

-turn up the heat in the house
-get as many thick blankets as you can
-take no medicine whatsoever
-drink absoltely no fluid
