Pepper Spray help!! if your awake.

I was at a fight tonight and it turned into more of a riot and pepper spray was flying all over the place. Its all over my left arm and my face and I rubbed my eyes and they are all red and burning too.. It got in my mouth but that doesnt even burn anymore. I put water on it and it made it worse...I called poison control and it just rang and rang and rang.....ANYONE IF YOUR STILL AWAKE WHAT CAN I DO THIS IS KILLING ME. Ill never be able to sleep tonight. Cmon there has to be some magic homemade solution that I dont know about..

O ya and I dont know if it was pepper spray or mase. If that matters.

Apply creamy chedder cheese, and wipe off with corn or flour tortilla chips....

I thought police just used a water flush as in flush your eyes for about 15 min.
I am no substitute for poison control.
Call police and or sheriff, tell them you shot yourself accidentaly. See what they do to remove it.

Yeah keep flushing it with water, surely that will work.

In all seriousness, you need to use baby shampoo to literally flush your eyes out and to get the micronized capsasian out of the pours of your skin.

i woke up and it still hurts a bit although its bearable now. that was a rough night thanks guys. I used your shampoo idea mango on my face and it did help a little.

But you would think water is your best bet, but for some reason it made it worse.

little late but..... Don't put anything on it that will hold it on or under your skin (so the cheese is out) While somewhat unbearable time would have been your best bet (until you jump in the shower he he he) effects usually wear off after about an hour. Baby shampoo is a good trick and acctually works on some people but if you use water your best bet would be to soak a towel and blot, don't rub. If you rub your just gonna force it into your skin and that's gonna suck, blotting draws the pils out of your skin. I have heared of people using simple green but common sense makes me think thats not such a great idea. What worked best for me was a 5 gallon bucket of cold water and dunk, when your done dunk again. Just set up a hose so your pumping in fresh water so you don't dunk yourself into mace water and then sit yourself in front of a fan for a while (the cool breeze helps)
