The justice system in America is far too unreliable to be entrusted with determining whether to put someone to death. As for your question, no, it is not acceptable, in a country that purports to be moral, to put ANY innocent person to death.

your absolutely right there. do you realize how little crim is commited in sinnapore when you kno that you get 10 lashes from a whip? granted i dont think US should go to cutting off hands and whipping people, but maybe get rid of the cable TV access and all the damn pointless lawsuits that prisoners try to pull which costs tax payers $$Originally posted by White_Noiseexample of why this works: i bet the kid from america who spray painted on cars in sinnapore(sp) back in the early 90's will be doing any more spray painting considering he got canned for it.

No. That's a fairly ethnocentric statement, but it does explain your views.Originally posted by BuffMost people belive "morals" to be somewhat in-line with Judeo-Christian believes, correct?Last edited by drg; 01-24-2005, 01:32 AM.Comment
