Your going to find a ton of subaru's in that price range. AWD and a fairly good base option load out. Lots of vanilla accords, camry's, jettas ect.
You can also find decent 1500 series trucks for that price range with between 70-100k on them.
Currently own FWD, RWD, and AWD vehicles. Gotta say the RWD will get you where you need to go in snow, but it's not always going to be an enjoyable ride. AWD is the way to go if your going to do alot of winter driving in my opinion.Comment

The best investment would be a toyota or honda. Best reliability, best resale. I'd shoot for a 4runner, CRV, or Accord.Comment
