"It is unfortunate that we are not as blameless and pure of intent as the warmongering, xenophobic, bigoted conservatives and neo-conservatives would like everyone to believe. I would educate them, if it was possible. It's not."

To view the world through a liberal's eyes is like viewing the world through the eyes of a child. The world is a big scary place. Solutions are not black and white. There are lesser of two evils. Sometimes the best solution isn't a good solution. A liberal's tunnel vision prevents them from understanding the basic truth of the matter. Humans are inherently evil creatures. More kindness and understanding is rewarded with more pain and suffering. Until the bleeding heart morons can understand the basic facts of human behavior, they will be blinded by their own naivete.

Yes, friends of the family, classmates and friends. Went to 5 funeral in a two month span. All with empty caskets.

Somehow that turned into the defense of the Iraq war. Of course, you completely missed my point. Nowhere did I endorse what the guy said as the truth. I was responding to your incomplete logic.

You insist there is no possibility, if Iraq was a motivator for the 9/11 attacks, that Iraq was not involved. That's like saying only people who have cancer would donate to a cancer research foundation.

These situations are not simple A-or-B, black-or-white propositions. It's not just us or them, and its counterproductive to view the world in those terms.

By the way voting for Clinton or Gore won't give you any "street cred" with liberals. If you didn't vote Kerry when it really counted, you might very well fall into the camp of one of the groups arguably worse than conservatives -- neonconservatives.

To view the world through a conservative's eyes is like viewing the world through the eyes of a mentally retarded person. The world he cares about only extends as far as his own home. Solutions have to be strictly black or white, he cannot handle more complex thought. Anything he doesn't agree with is automatically evil. A good solution isn't always the best solution, sometimes a bad one is just fine with him. A conservative's simplicity prevents them from understanding the basic truth of the matter. Humans are inherently evil creatures, and conservatives are humans, too. Until the [insert adjective here] conservatives can understand that they are not any more human than any other nationality or ideology, they will be blinded by their own shortsightedness.

And viewing the world through the eyes of someone with drq's political views is like viewing the world through the eyes of a retard.

See how easily we can turn that around?
