Howdy. Ive been playing minesweeper a lot recently and I wondered how good everyone else was. My best times are

Beginner - 10
Intermediate - 59
Expert - 227

no it has someting to do wiht the #s mean how many bombs are touching that number i think, something wierd like that I never really enjoyed it, i guess prob casue i never really understood it.

No, there is a formula that you follow depending on the number that you get when you click. For instance, if the number is "3", that means that there are three mines surrounding that spot.

There is actually a secret that makes it go a lot faster . However, the essential problem with the game is that you need to learn patterns becuase it never follows logical 100%. I don't care how good you are, 4 mines in 1 corner cannot be found with logic because the innermost one has no numbers by it. My best expert is actually 1, because I had an error and the timer wouldn't work. However, normally I can do it in around 150, sometimes more, sometimes less. On this particular school computer my best is 191.

Actually it takes atleast 2 clicks to lose. No matter where you pick your first pick will never be on a mine.

I know for a fact I've had my first click be a mine...maybe it's only on custom levels though?


If you make the biggest level possible with the least amount of mines possible it IS possible to win in one click...actually it happens pretty often.
