mozilla thunderbird, any good?

I have been very happy using firefox for months now, but i was wondering if anyone has any experiance with thunderbird. Is it as good, better or worse as outlook express?

when my roommate wakes up tommorow ill ask him what he thinks. I know he likes it much better than outlook

Its ok. Exactly the same functions as outlook, but you get a spam filter, that almost works 100%. I still get a little spam. Best spam filter I have used, the others were rubbish.

Not that much difference to outlook. Try it.....if you prefer OL, just switch back

I use it. It doesn't overwhelm me with coolness, but it works.
