        What fun is it if people know it's fast?
        It's when you stick a slightly modded Ls1 pushing 375hp into an old RS that you have somthing cool

                  There are quite a few "free" mods out there that should put you above 305 real-world ponies and with some practice, you'll get low 13s out of it. Stock-ish.

                  A local car board I hang out on has some nasty ls-1s. www.norcal-ls1.com. In particular, the guys as Force Fed Performance are putting turbos on em. Nasty stuff.
                  God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

                        Really? Dyno, to the rear wheels? That's pretty good for stock. Most of the guys I know get from 310-335 from SS/WS-6 LS1's. Maybe you got a hot one? One I know of is an 02, and has the LS6 block/injectors/stuff, he got 340 out of it. That car ran 12.9 (once. )

                          you might want to check out www.ls1tech.com Nice car! And after doing some research I have discovered that some later model ss camaros had a 345hp option package that included a new airbox and exhaust.

                            Nice ride. I love mine:

                            1997 30th Anniversary Edition SS w/ LT-1 power
                            1 of 246 T-top cars with the Level 2 suspension, ARE heavy duty rear, white leather interior, etc.

                            I plan to keep it showroom stock and preserve its heritage.

                              Dang Mango, I've never seen an LT1 SS T-tops. The car I was referring to earlier (LS6 block) is 35th anniversary with t-tops though.

                              LT1 = torque monster
