    Sign up for the MySoldier program. It hooks you up with a soldier in Iraq to communicate with. Feedback from the troops involved has been great, and MySoldier would like to expand. But to expand to include more troops, more civilians are needed!

    And hell, as a bonus you get a wristband. But don't sign up for the wristband if you don't intend on writing, because that's just gay.

                  I signed up. No reason not to sign up. It might make some soldier a little happier out there. I can send him a bunch of maxim magazines and such. My house gets a million of them.

                                  While I agree with Teuf in doing all you wish to support freedom, I want to let you in on a little secret...

                                  In Iraq, and much of Afghanistan, the PX system is up and running very well. Another 3 dozen tubes of toothpaste in the mail simply goes to waste (or the Haji's).

                                  I dearly enjoyed all that my AO friends have sent me, and will relish their generosity for the rest of my life, there are others in greater need than the soldiers still fighting...

                                  I ask that you go to the nearest VA hospital or recovery center and cheer THOSE Hero's on. They have sacrificed nearly all in their efforts to keep evil at bay. Their scars will be with them for life, many of them covering the gap of missing limbs. These men and women deserve more than a cold bedpan and an embarrasing hospital gown. While letters are ALWAYS welcome from ANYONE at ANYTIME, think of something unique to put in the package.

                                  Honor them, give them a nice day, and we here will keep fighting in their absence.
