I don't believe that this will ever happen. Bruce Campbell pretty much hates the entire Evil Dead trilogy at this point... I'd like to see a real source for the information that Bruce Campbell agreed to star in it.

Actually Bruce said he was down but it depended if Raimi could find time to direct it. Plus, as you'll see below, they dont own the rights to either 'EVIL DEAD' or 'ARMY OF DARKNESS' movie names, its owned by 2 different studios, but they own the Ash character.

Also... Raimi/Campbell are in talks with Newline trying to get Ash inserted into the next 'freddy vs jason' movie which they're working on doing, but because Evil Dead is licensed by one company, and 'Army of Darkness' by another but Campbell/Raimi own the character rights to ASH. So they're trying to work out the legal stuff to get 'Freddy vs Jason vs Ash' made.

Yeah I'm serious. Bruce had an interview with a few places a while back that he mentioned it, then Newline reps mentioned it so its just wether they can get the legal stuff taken care of getting the 'Ash' character in there since the rights are so screwed.

I think the way bruce feels about it is he liked doing it. Good friends with raimi. He;'d probably do it if he asked him to. He does not however, like being steriotyped as ASH. So don't go up to him and say one of his lines to him cause he'll prolly walk right away, after he punches you in the face (or done by his bodyguard *should he have one*).
