New Stuff I've been writing (music)

Hey all, I recently had some time to play around with my Uncle's mixing board, gearf, etc, and i recorded, layered, tracked, etc, some stuff I've been working on.
Lemme know what you think.
Most of the Mixing equipment was Beringer, I believe, and I'm using a Jackson DKMG, through a BOSS MT-2 right into the board.
Keep in mind I havent been palying very long, and it was my first time using Recording equipment.

It has some serious potential. The distortion sounds like butt though. The bass sounds too...machined i guess, its just sounds too clean. But thats all good for just a rough demo recording.

The first track kinda reminds me of a Black Dahlia Murder song, but without the blast beat and the intense vox.

Anyways, pretty cool stuff, im just not diggin the distortion, but its all good.

I like the distortion, Lol. thats just the way it came out, it was actually lot brighter whewn played through my cousin's Marshall Stack. As for the bass, I havent played bass in a LONG time, so i messed up good.

That's some great stuff! Has the melody of early Maiden... but a tad darker. It's great. Keep up the great work!

Not bad. I'm not much of a music buff, but I liked the new material, and I really like the guitar solo's. Has a lot of potential I would say.

Not bad, nice 80's metal. I can dig that.

Also not a fan of the way the guitar tone came out, maybe better live but pretty rough in the playback.

Only real critique I would have is to not try and play faster than you ability,give it time..it will come.

Clean and Tight > Fast and Sloppy.

Good effort tho, I liked it.

BTW, I have that same strap.
