    List some of your fav. beers here.

    i wanna get a list going for some beer that are somwhat readily available at the liquor store or trader joes or whole foods. anyhow some reccomnedations would be great. I like ales/darker stuff myself, but chug anything really. Mostly when i come home from work i wanna chill and sip slow a decent beer.

    Newcastle
    Guiness
    Belhaven (soo good, my fave so far but $$)
    Spaten: Optimator
    Red Tail ale

    i know im forgettin some really good stuff, help me out.

                Mind you these three from Japan I will only choose when they are from Japan. Not the crap sold here in the US that is made by AB with permission from the brewing companies in Japan.

                --Schlafly Scotch Ale
                --Schlafly Coffee Stout

                These two are about the only American brews (and local to) that I can stand.

                --Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

                Great Stout with an aftertaste of chocolate, not a slamming brew by any means but a good stout to take your time with.

                --Tartan

                Great unfiltered brew that I had while in Montreal. Very hard to find on tap since it tends to foul up tap lines quickly.
