Baseball Season !!!

Now that the Superbowl is over with, baseball will soon be on its way in a few months. Anyone saving up to buy tickets to any games? Whos your favorite MLB team and why? who do you hate and why?


I will be purchasing season tickets this year to the Phillies, and will be trying to get opening day tickets for the Red Sox vs Yankees


I'm a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies, I was born and raised in Braintree, Mass so I got the boston blood in me. My favorite player was Mo Vaughn intill he started his downfall, now it would be Johnny Damon. I now live in Bucks County, PA. I moved here when I was 15 years old and have been a dedicated Phillies fan for about 4 years now. Even though the Phils have been in the slums since '93 I still have hope for them.

I hate the Yankees, they are the evil empire. Now I know that the Red Sox have the second highest payroll but the yankees is doubled the Red Sox. Their taking the fun out of the game by buying up the best players. I just get so relieved when a team with a payroll half as much as theirs beats them. (ex: florida marlins wins world series against them)

White Sox, my family is split 50/50 between Sox and cubs and can be quite the bitter rivalry. Hopefully the sox can put their stuff together and bring home the AL-Central. More importantly, I can't wait to start playing baseball again.

I am a Pirates fan. I know they are not a good team, but they are my home team. This will be the 2nd year in a row that I do not have full season tickets and it sucks. I just can not justify the $4k a year on 81 games.

Not a big baseball fan.

Mostly because a minor league team plays on a field next to my tennis club.

If you've never had a fly ball hit you while playing tennis,and you had no idea it was coming...then don't !

It leaves deep emotional scars. The bruise does go away tho...eventually.

Grew up with the Yankees as my home team so.....go Yanks.

I'm interested to see how the Los Angeles teams do after decent seasons last year and managed to give up large talent players and still expect to compete. Although it's going to be tough to tell the Dodgers apart as their names have been removed off the back of the jersey. Oh and it'll be fun listening to the crying of the fans of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Growing up watching the Yankees (back before there was such a thing as a digital TV tuner), I'll be rooting for them to dominate. I'd love to go to a Yankees-Sox game, but I don't think I'll be able to afford that series (the biggest rivalry in sports is sure to be an expensive ticket). I'll probably go to Yankee Stadium a few times this year, though.

Dodgers are my team, its been hard the past few years. At least they did well last year.

As for the Angels, tons of my friends are mad. Haha, got to love how the angels changed there name
