    Optical disk repair

    Ok, we all have disks that are scratched, be them CDs, CD-ROMs, or DVDs. How do you all go about fixing them? Anyone ever try one of those disk grinder things that basically sand a bit of the material off the disk? Any other methods that work?

    those cleaners work good , spray disc with distilled water then turn , like the one below

      now i've seen those before, never had the money at the time to buy one but i was just wondering how it works? does it pull off a layer off plastic from the cd or what?

        yeah, it has different grit paper that runs over the surface of the disc and polishes it.
