Ok, so I got this thing now, and have no idea how to play it.
It was out of tune, I tuned it with a program from the web.. just by ear. That didn't take too long.

But I honestly have NO idea how to play it. I'm not about to pay for lessons.. I'm going to learn this by myself.

I was hoping some people could give some pointers, good websites, and all that fun stuff.

1) learn to read "tab"
2) go to mxtabs.net for tabs/ tab lessons
3) register in their forums!
4) post questions here, on mx, or on thordic (they have a music forum)

Learn a few chords really well, then start expanding off them, then learn some more chords. I have one of those little $5 chord books you pick up at the music store, but I know there are some sites online that have the same thing for free. Just make lots of noise too, if you experiment enough then you'll start making noises that sound good. It's nice to have a few chords to start on though. I'm not very good, but that's how I started.
