    what do you shave with?

    electric or razor?

I am sick of using my mach 3 razor. I get mad razor burn occasionally and it gets annoying. Wondering if goint to an "electro" is any better .

anyway, if its better, hit me up with some good brands and products.. ill take a look at them

I use an Electric dry shaver. Remington MicroScreen 3 TCT to be exact. It shaves almost as close as a Mach 3, but is like 10 quicker. Perfect for me, seeing as it has a pop up trimmer. Plus its pretty cheap (about $30)

The first few shaves feel irritable, but then your skin gets used to it and its perfect. I never get razor burn

I just use a beard trimmer. I put it on it's lowest setting. I hate the feeling when my face is all smooth after actually shaving. If I have an interview or something I use my electric (a remmington titanium) on my cheeks and around my lips, which works ok, but misses some stuff. If I use it on my neck I get razor burn, so I use a mach 3 turbo for my neck.

edit* yeah, like specialblend said. If I use my electric everyday, then it stops giving me razor burn and works pretty well, but I don't do that.

There's this little thing called shaving cream, works wonders

But seriously- Get some good shaving cream, I use the foamy gels- they work wonders. And I use a Gilette M3 Power- the standard razor with a little motor in it. It actually works pretty well. I NEVER get razor burn, and almost never have to go over a spot on my face more than once before it's as good as it will get. Plus it's only like $2 more than the non-motorized kind.

my fingernails, it's a bloddy mess, truly.

actually, I'm in the market for an electro too, but I usually stick with the mach original shavers. Old school, its like the pumpers of paintball.

I swear by my Braun Syncro setup. Great shave and the self cleaning setup is great. A nice clean razor every time (or every other time if you want to save the cleaning fluid).

I use a Gilette Sensor Excel. My trick to no irritation is shaving in the shower. Get a shaving mirror with suction cups and stick it to the shower wall. Any razor burn / irritation is immediately reduced.

I have an electric razor too, and while its fast and convenient, it does nowhere near as good a job as a real razor. It doesn't give as good a shave, so after work/school if you have to do anything you might have to shave again. Plus they tend to not shave so good on your neck for some reason. It never gets a clean shave on my neck, it always leaves some hairs behind. I'm not sure if its due to the angle of the hair there or the fact you can't get as much pressure because the skin gives more or what.

I like having both though. I use both of them, but I use the razor more. For a while I used the electric for work when I didn't care and the razor on weekends when I did care, but now I just use the razor almost all the time again.

Electric is good. Razors are better, but more chances of cutting yourself too.

The only decent shaves i've seen come out of an electric razor came from $300 ones, and it still wasn't as good as a blade.

I received a M3 Power for Christmas and I thought it was just a clever gimick at first, but after a couple of months of use, I am a believer!
