One of the better Psych. thrillers out there, but still leaves a bit to be desired. Love it though. Hell, there's nothing quite like watching Westley (The Princess Bride) go nutso with that saw..

good movie, but not that scarry really. the doctor was the biggest pansy, till he cut his leg off, then he was cool. then pansy again... really let me down, i wanted him to walk around on a bloody nub leaving a trail asif his leg was a paintbrush draging along the cement. no such luck tho.Comment

yea, i wanted to see some nub. but that was a very good movie + they left room for a 2nd movie!Hard work never killed anybody...but why take a chance?

Well the thing was i really didnt know all that much about saw until I had seen the preview with the device on the herion addicts head. After seeing that i had to go see it. wow guys.. i really enjoyed this movie, keeps you guessing til the end, good acting, original plot. as far as scary goes, its really not that bad. my gf thought that hide and seek was scary, and saw made her laugh
. i wouldnt say its scary, i'd say; "gruesome"

Ok.... I just watched it tonight.
After reading this thread, I was totally expecting some gore, and overall scariness. Their was none of that. This movie, flat out sucked. That doctor guy should have been replaced by Will Farrel (they even look alike) that way when I'm laughing, it's because it's supposed to be funny.
It didn't even show the guys nub... What a total letdown. I don't think that their was a single truely scary part in the movie.
