    .wav's

    does anyone know a site where i can get small sized .wav's it's for background music on a site... anyone? or anyone got a converter? i tried but they only get bigger and no smaller... i lot all my progs since i went to boot camp.. too many people messed with my comps...

      .wav's are not compressed, so it's likely that any file you create with a converter will be larger or the same size as the original. I would maybe see if you could use a different file type.

        a small file for musical backrounds would probably be MIDI format.

          .wavs are large large files, and uncompressed as someone stated.

          There are converters that take .wavs and make the .mp3s (smaller). If you want to loop a backround sound/music that is fairly short, mp3s are fine, wavs will take a while to load... and midis are the best, though their sound quality is obviously not the same..
