I correct their gross misuse of the English language to the best of my ability and tell them I would rather throw it away then sell it to them.

My favorites are the ones when you get a post asking (using your X-Mag for example)

"hi saw your gun and I was wondering does it have and X-Valve reactive trigger on it?"

      ......must not...... attack...... screen

Its a given that when you post up a for sale thread, be it eBay, or a forum, not matter HOW clear everything is presented (with numerous pictures) you WILL get several of them.

I always wondered if it was possible to make a for sale thread that was so clear it cold not possibly bring in an email like that but I am pretty convinced it's not.

If you are selling a whole gun package, if you want to be thorough and crystal clear, it's going to take more than 2 complete sentences to do and that kind of email is spawned from people who don't read more than 2 sentences (if that) and just go to the pictures

If you keep it short and dry you will still get the idiot emails + legit questions form people asking about details you left off for simplicity.

It's a vicious cycle and before I put anything up on eBay I have to play a FPS for a few hours to drain my aggression.

            Best dumb questions:

On a reserve auction "What's the reserve?" --Uh, you do understand the concept right?

Is it stolen?-- If it was would I admit it to you?

Will you ship it to me 1st and if it's ok,I'll send you check?--nuff said there...Dolt.

If I don't like it can I get a refund? --What do I look like Walmart?

Will you go cheaper? I can get that for 1/2 of your price elsewhere.--So what the heck are you bugging me for.

I have others I'll post later.........

Usually these types of e-mails are associated with scams. Mainly the Nigerian Scam, but others too. If you don't know what the Nigerian Scam is, research it. If I didn't know about it, my brother would be out $7000 right now. He still gets e-mails just like the one in the first post, and in some cases, the english is even worse (if that's at all possible).

When I get those type of e mails Korrosion, I reply back that they should get some rudimentary spelling lessons of the English language and know how to compose a letter, then we will talk.

I always get some sort of nasty reply that I just delete so I can get on with dealing with individuals that can actually compose a sentence.

When I was selling my Mag some guy IM'ed me tell'in me my mag sucked and he wouldn't pay $5 for it. So when I asked him why, he said his "pro" friend told him mags sucked. So then I continued to ask him if I could talk to his "pro" friend. Well, it turned out this friend was some random chick who knew nothing about paintball.

                    I hate idiots.
