    I dont drink soda, but I drink beer. I wonder if cut back on beer how much weight I will. I am 5'11" and weigh 195. Me at 180

      drink about a liter of diet coke a day. no weight gain, but ill prolly have cancer before i am 30.

      and who calls soda "pop"? whats with that is it a regional thing?

        hahaha, so true. what i find even more hilarious is that when i showed up at my paintball field, i saw that they installed a PIZZA VENDING MACHINE. im serious here, its a vending machine that you put $6 in and it cooks a small frozen pizza for you. we all just started cracking up when we saw it. what was even more hilarious is i told two of my american friends and they responded "thats awesome!!!!"... then i told my friend from Spain and she responded "hahahahahaha!!!!!! im sorry, but thats just pathetic! stupid fat americans!"

          As far as your weight is concerned beer may likely be better for you than soda. Soda is a hypertonic (?) liquid, which causes your body to dehydrate itself when expelling the soda. As such it tend to slow down basic metabolic functions.
