Do you remember the first picture you viewed?

    On the internet.
Anyone knows that I'm talking about - It would have taken about 10 minutes for pictures to load when the internet first came out. Anyone remember what they sacrifed their time for?

I do .. I used to be a HUGE basketball fan when I was younger. Family huddled around the computer, waiting for that image of Shaq to finally clearly load.

Hmm...no idea what the first picture was, but I know it was not from a Web page. It would have most likely been an image downloaded from a Usenet group or gopher site.

Yeah, I remember when it took time to actually "download" pictures to your comp.

Definitely can't remember the first one I looked at, but screenshots of Mortal Kombat 3 are the ones I most vividly remember.

I definatly dont remember my first, but I do remember the most viewed / vivid as muz has suggested.

I spent hours upon hours downloading and viewing flight sim aircraft/scenery etc for simming.

Probably the Netcom splash screen. I didn't start on the Internet until I was about 13... although I did Prodigy years before that, and BBS's. My guess is I spent a lot of time going to Nintendo sites and stuff at that age... looking for stuff on Street Fighter II. I learned HTML immediately to make my own webpages...

Edit: This was the first real photograph I had looked at when on the net. Took FOREVER to load.

Not including things like web site logos, etc.
