              Ya know, that is just wrong. I am not for supporting the record companies themselves..but if you like a band enough to listen to their music, support them by buying the album.

              It's not like a CD costs that much.

                      Well if you wanna get technical, going to shows is a better way of supporting the band than buying the CD. But yeah, my policy is, if I like the song, I download it, if I like the album, buy it. If theres two or three good songs on the album, it'll end up in my collection.

                          There was a movie called "Eddie and the Cruisers" starring Michael Pare..."who?" you say! Came out in the mid '80s. Anyway, it was actually a pretty cool movie.

                              I agree 100%. I think sharing music is awesome. What really gets me is when kids take advantage of the system and download ALL of their music.
                              Me: Hey, what kind of music do you like?
                              Random inconsiderate person: Oh, I like [insert name of band here]
                              Me: Oh really? I like them too. What cd's do you have?
                              Random inconsiderate person: Oh I dont have any, I download all of my music.


                              I guess you dont really like the band, do you?
