Ya know, that is just wrong. I am not for supporting the record companies themselves..but if you like a band enough to listen to their music, support them by buying the album.Originally posted by FixionI am proud to say that I have never bought ANY music in my life. That doesn't mean I don't have any

It's not like a CD costs that much.

Well if you wanna get technical, going to shows is a better way of supporting the band than buying the CD. But yeah, my policy is, if I like the song, I download it, if I like the album, buy it. If theres two or three good songs on the album, it'll end up in my collection.Originally posted by MuzikmanYa know, that is just wrong. I agree 100%. I think sharing music is awesome. What really gets me is when kids take advantage of the system and download ALL of their music.Originally posted by ThordicWell if you wanna get technical, going to shows is a better way of supporting the band than buying the CD. Me: Hey, what kind of music do you like?
Random inconsiderate person: Oh, I like [insert name of band here]
Me: Oh really? I like them too. What cd's do you have?
Random inconsiderate person: Oh I dont have any, I download all of my music.
I guess you dont really like the band, do you?
guh it makes me want to stab small animals.
I guess it's the american mentality.. hehComment
