Anyone know why automaggot was banned?

RobAGD refuses to answer me in the thread on PBtalk, and refuses to talk to me in chat, so I will just ask the whole of AO...

Anyone know why automaggot was banned? As far as I know it was for bringing up the LPB issue (you know... that new rule that just kinda got "made up"), when in reality he was just defending me (in a very tactful manner, mind you). Looks like a mistake on Rob's part... but I dunno.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

Either the ban was a joke, they realized I got banned for a really stupid reason, or someone else likes me.

well in the ban thread here -->click it says bringing up the LPB thing. and as you can see alot of other ppl got banned also. in the therad i think they did say to drop it but i also think that its lame that they got banned for 30 days

But he didn't bring up the LPB thing, he was talking about me, not LPB. He even said my name.

In all honesty, I really dont know. Keith is a cool guy and actually posts worthwhile things. Just because he touches on a 'touchy' subject should most defenitely not result in a ban. Although Im not going to get into it though.

People should only be banned if they honestly, truly did something wrong. They flat-out broke the rules and truly offended people. God damn AO is falling apart.

Banning people is causing more problems than it is solving them.

30 days? Not really the end of the world is it. Its not like its a criminal conviction.

Don't attempt to play the wounded soldier, you were banned for an over the limits signature for 3 days and then a further 3 days for using your brothers account to post while your last ban was still in place. The ban actually had about an hour still to run, so it was possible that you had not realised that you ban was basically up so that is why you were only given a further 3 days.
Despite this given as a reason in another thread more than a few users took exception to this action and called for a permenant ban for you in line with a previous banning of another user and again despite the explanations that the two cases were not the same this latest flare up is the result.
With regards to your signature/s, you frequently create new signatures and whilst you can succeed in getting the dimensions correct you seem to have trouble keeping the file size within the limits laid out in the signature rules. This said if you continue to post signatures over the limits then your signature will be removed again and again resulting eventually in a permenant ban.

If you are that worried about your table code then go here http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=97783 the reason that the table coding was removed is that due to the length of the replacement code that is used to highlight that you are in breach of the signature rules it is a little difficult to simply replace your picture code with the other one and keep things looking uncluttered.
